RHEMI HISTORY
Restoration House Empowerment Ministries International, affectionately known as RHEMI, was founded in 2006 by Pastors Anthony and Carla Mays. Services were held in the living room of their home with less than 10 members. With a small and humble beginning, Pastors Anthony and Carla were determined to continue in the assignment God had charged them with. It wasn’t long before God led others to RHEMI. This now budding ministry soon grew too large for the living room. Pastor Mays began to seek God for a new place for the church to worship.
The first move for RHEMI was a blessing in disguise; a small space connected to the back of Pastor Mays’ business office: 639 East Ocean Ave suite 103. Standing on the scripture Matt 6:33 “Seek ye first the kingdom of God”, RHEMI began to impact not only the members inside but families and individuals abroad. Church at “639” holds powerful and unforgettable memories for the RHEMI family. It is these memories that laid a foundation for who we are today. As the Rhemi family grew, there was an outpouring of blessings, testimonies of healing, restoration, and deliverance. People began to get excited about church again. God was causing RHEMI to walk out its name “Restoration”.
In June 2008, Golf View Harbor Clubhouse became the second move for RHEMI. It was a quick move and the church never missed a beat. Like Joshua, Restoration House went in and possessed the land.
On October 1st, 2009 RHEMI Moved to 2015 South federal highway, Boynton Beach Florida. In October 2011, RHEMI began to Stream LIVE, spreading the gospel through the internet to thousands. In August of 2013, RHEMI’s new TV show Restoration Now began airing on Christian Television Network (CTN).
In July 1, 2019 Rhemi Nation Purchased its current Location Address: 200 Sterling Ave. Delray Beach Fl.

Today RHEMI functions with over 20 Ministries of Helps, with emphasis on community outreach, services, education, fellowship, the arts and media.
RHEMI Church is covered by Ruach Ministries (Patris Fellowship) under the leadership of Bishop John Francis, Brixton London UK.
RHEMI endeavors to be A Church where lives are changed, love is felt, God is seen and hearts are restored.
Biography of Pastor Anthony S. Mays
Bishop Anthony Mays is a man with a heart for the things of God. He is anointed to teach and preach
the word of God with power, revelation, and without compromise. The eloquence of his anointing reaches
out and embraces your inner man, challenging you to live victoriously, grow spiritually, and know God intimately. His God ordained assignment is to minister to the whole man; spirit, soul and body. His visionary ministry is salvation and restoration, with emphasis on deliverance, family, finances, and fellowship.
Called to the Ministry in 2003, Pastor Mays was ordained at New Christian Life Church, under the leadership of Pastor Richard W. Butler. In 2004-2005 Pastor Mays received leadership and prophetic training as a member of Embassy Worship Center , under the covering of Dr. N. Cindy Trimm. After receiving his mandate from God, Pastor Mays continues to obediently fulfill his calling as Pastor of Restoration House Empowerment Ministries International. Affectionately known as RHEMI, “A Church where lives are changed, love is felt, God is seen and hearts are restored”. This powerful ministry began in 2006 with less than 10 members. Today membership has grown massively with hundreds in attendance each week.
Pastor Mays is an advocate for excellence and high achievement. He studied Theology at Evangelical Bible Seminary and Pathway of Life Seminary School. He has also taken many courses to advance his knowledge of Kingdom and biblical understanding. He served as a communication sergeant in the United States Army for 7 years. He graduated with several military degrees for academic excellence, leadership and meritorious service.
Pastor Mays is the owner of ACM Management Company and the “Tax Man” Accounting Services. ACM develops, produces, and promotes Christian Artists and Music with a spirit of excellence. This includes managing his daughters international dance ministry, producing gospel concerts, conferences, and special events.
Pastor Mays’ success in life and ministry is attributed to him standing on Mark 11:24. He realizes that ministry begins at home; leading his family first as Priest and Covering. He is a loving husband to his wife: Co-Pastor Carla Mays and the proud father of 6 beautiful daughters; who are known all over the world as The Anointed Chenaniah Praise Dancers.
In summary, Pastor Mays is a man with a God given vision to reach the world and change lives through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He desires to see every believer made free from the chains of bondage, walking progressively in the manifested promises of God; physically, financially and spiritually.
Biography of Pastor Carla Mays
Pastor Carla Mays is a humble servant of the Lord. She is called to deliver the word of God with power, authority and transparency! She flows in a prophetic anointing that brings about radical change and spiritual transformation in the lives of believers around the world.
Spearheading Women of Wisdom Ministry, Pastor Carla empowers women and girls of all ages to use the God given gift of wisdom to achieve a well prioritized balanced life and to gain insight into life’s purpose. With over 25 years of sacrificial and dedicated service to the Lord, Pastor Carla has learned and reached the importance of faithfulness to the vision of pastoral leadership.
In 2006, Pastor Carla co-founded (R.H.E.M.I.). A church where lives are changed, love is felt, God is seen and hearts are restored. She shares diligently in ministry with her husband Senior Pastor Anthony S. Mays. Together they are a dynamic duo that bring a special brand of ministry of integrity, care and teamwork, impacting the body of Christ tremendously.
She is the CEO of two successful companies the Professionals Accounting Tax Services and ACM Productions. She is the executive producer of RHEMI’s TV show “Restoration Now,” which airs weekly on CTN Network. Pastor Carla is also the manager of her daughters’ International Dance Ministry known all over the world as “The Anointed Chenaniah Praise Dancers.”
Pastor Carla is a devoted wife to Pastor Anthony Mays and a loving mother to their beautiful daughters: Britni, Ashanti, Toni, Tiffany, Briana and Acacia. She has dedicated her life to the service of the Lord and the advancement of His Kingdom. Her heartfelt desire is that her life and ministry would continually bring glory, honor and praise to Jesus Christ.
